When I ran for Not Governor of Texas on a platform of the peaceful abolition of government, libertarians inexhaustibly coped at me that that strategy would never work. In the next moment the same people would proclaim political action through the pahtay was the only way to achieve freedom in our lifetimes.🔄❌

The Pahtay is a Honeypot.

You do not get liberty by begging for it. Liberty is taken and defended.

✅ It fools precious activists looking to improve the world into thinking it is the best method for that, and then shits away massive amounts of their time, attention, and energy.

✅ It causes division between people that should be working together with internal drama and fighting over candidates.

✅ It elevates people skilled at clout farming and audience growing to unearned positions of ideological leadership speaking for libertarianism, instead of people that know how to reason about the principles.

✅ Its scared of its own principles leaving it paralyzed.

✅ Its playing the states game; so the more principled it behaves the less effective it becomes at politics, providing justification to the pragmatists and other unprincipled’s to take over and push the party away from consistent libertarianism.

Don’t be played, and don’t get sucked in.
